Vamos a proteger a los aliados

La aventura combina entornos en 2D con personajes en 3D. En momentos puntuales las cinemáticas son generadas por el propio motor con cierta calidad, pero nada fuera de lo común. Los fondos suelen ser bastante interesantes y variados, aunque algunos de ellos pecan de cierta simplicidad. Además, hay poca interactividad con el escenario y las luces son muy estáticas, demasiado evidente la sensación de superposición.
El protagonista debe viajar por diversos lugares de la Europa nazi fácilmente reconocibles. Por contra, la mayoría de las veces estos escenarios están muy concentrados en pequeñas habitaciones y salas que no ofrecen ninguna alegría visual. Más bien al contrario, las herramientas de renderizado han llevado a cabo su trabajo discretamente, sin opulencias pero tampoco sin desahogos en el diseño.
LA JUGABILIDAD, UN DETALLE QUE NO PODEMOS OLVIDAR
Lo más importante en una aventura gráfica es la resolución de los puzzles. Undercover tiene una dificultad media, algunos son casi obvios y en cambio otros se basan en encontrar el objeto apropiado inspeccionando correctamente todas las salas. Las típicas zonas calientes que a veces cuestan de encontrar y que además se ven empañadas por un control en algunos casos tosco. Y es que el interfaz es tan reducido que con dos botones podremos realizar todas las operaciones.
En algunos casos hay que combinar objetos, en otros simplemente sacarlos del inventario y aplicarlos en el lugar correcto. Habitualmente no tendremos demasiados objetos a la vez y en rara ocasión habrá por ahí algo que no vaya a ser usado al menos una vez. La acción se complementa con divertidos minijuegos y situaciones alternativas o contrarreloj que el protagonista tendrá que resolver en tiempo restringido.
HISTORIA
Berlín, 5 de enero de 1943. Después de varios meses de investigación, los Servicios Secretos Británicos han obtenido unos planos extremadamente explosivos. Según parece, la Alemania Nazi ha desarrollado una nueva y peligrosa arma y el MI6 debe reaccionar de inmediato.En Undercover encontrarás la clásica aventura "point and click" ambientada en la Segunda Guerra Mundial; una absorbente trama de espinaje con sorpresas y giros inesperados, personajes en 3D y un interfaz sencillo e intuitivo, así como multitud de puzzles para resolver.
